Nap Time
| 1 replyJust put Xander down for a nap. I am in the living room, and I have the video monitor on. I just looked over to see if he was asleep... and well...

No. He’s not.
Just Like Auntie Kim!!
| 3 repliesAnyone who knows my sister, will know where Xander got this very special talent from. Ah, food in the hair...

Yummy...pizza.....
| replyXander is really getting into "big people" food. Here is he enjoying some of Mommy’s pizza:
and Ice Cream:
and finally, Xander finishes the night by brushing his teeth like a good boy!
My favorite picture du jour!
| 1 replyMegan took this picture of Xander and I, this past weekend in San Francisco. It is officially my FAVORITE picture right now, and so I wanted to share it with people here!
a local family daytrip
| replyToday we went hiking on Mount Diablo, whose trails start about 2.5miles from our house! It was a beautiful day for it, warm but not hot with a breeze.
We did have to cut our hike short and cancel our picnic since Xander was getting a little fussy (he’s teething, I think).
Otherwise it was a beautiful day! Although I was a little creeped out finding out that now is the time the giant tarantulas come out to play on the mountain!!! (no i am NOT joking!!) They park visitor center even has a planned "Tarantula Trek" later this month! (if you don’t believe me feel free to google it!) EWWWWWWWWWW!!! I will ABSOLTELY NOT be participating in that hike!!!!
Anyway, to sum it up...(other than the eight-legged intrusion) another lovely day with my lovely family =)
Enjoy the pictures
Xander vs. Sterling the Cat
| replyXander and Sterling, our cat, are both very curious about each other. Sterling loves to come over and sit next to Xander because he knows Xander will play plenty of attention to him! Now that Xander is scooching/crawling forward, Xander can go visit the cat anytime the mood strikes! I hope you enjoy the following video, entitled "Xander vs. Sterling the Cat".
Xander's Shoe Obsession
| 1 replyXander has finally started crawling forward in the last few days!!!!
Now he is traveling everywhere in the living room (he thankfully hasn’t figured out he can crawl out of the living room and into the rest of the house!) and showing us just how not baby-proofed our home is!
So far, his favorite thing to go after is the air vent.
His second favorite is shoes, especially Daddy’s shiny work shoes!
Danielle and Frank's Reception

Since their wedding was so far away, last night they had a reception dinner to celebrate their marriage with friends and family here in California!

Congratulations Danielle and Frank! Wishing you a lifetime together of happiness!!!!!!!!
